Sunday 10th April 2011

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen.
In the story of Jesus feeding the 5000 in Luke 6, a small boy gave what he had and Jesus fed thousands of people. John 6:9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?" Imagine the impact on a community when a group of believers sell out totally to Jesus and see his kingdom come as poverty, hunger, homelessness is eradicated. We believe that God can and will do this in Clapton as we put him first in our lives all the time!

Acts 2:43 "...and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
